Nassau, Bahamas – October 14, 2025 – Cloud Carib, a leading provider of sovereign cloud and managed IT services in the Caribbean and Latin America, has announced its strategic entry into the Bermuda market through an expanded partnership with Brava, the Business arm of One Communication in Bermuda. The collaboration aims to enhance existing cloud infrastructure and strengthen the delivery of secure, resilient, and locally attuned digital services.
Under the agreement, Cloud Carib will work alongside Brava Bermuda to support the management, operations, and development of Brava’s established data center pods. The partnership includes shared investment in modernizing the infrastructure with advanced hardware and optimized systems to improve performance, security, and scalability. Both companies are also committed to supporting the country’s growing technology sector, including the systems needed to support and oversee the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This includes working with progressive financial and regulatory institutions, driving innovation in Bermuda.
Brava remains a key partner in the initiative. Together, the companies are reinforcing their collaboration to deliver a fully sovereign, enterprise-grade cloud platform designed to meet the evolving needs of Bermuda’s businesses, regulated institutions, and government bodies.
With a growing number of clients already utilizing the platform, the enhanced Bermuda-based cloud environment allows Cloud Carib to offer its full suite of cloud and managed services in a sovereign capacity. This ensures lower latency, stronger data protection, regulatory compliance, and improved service delivery within the region.
“Our investment in Bermuda underscores our mission to deliver trusted, locally resident cloud services across the region,” said Stelios Xeroudakis, Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Cloud Carib. “By combining Brava’s on-island expertise with our regional capabilities, we are building a stronger and more secure digital foundation for Bermuda.”
“This significant investment in a modern cloud stack in Bermuda is a huge and overdue step forward in Bermuda’s digital evolution,” said Conor McGowan Smyth, Brava CEO. “By working alongside Cloud Carib, we’re not only advancing the infrastructure that powers our data economy, but also reinforcing Bermuda’s position as a secure, sovereign, self-reliant, and innovation-ready jurisdiction.”
The expansion strengthens Cloud Carib’s position as the region’s leading sovereign cloud provider. As governments and enterprises across the Caribbean seek greater control over their data and move away from reliance on North American infrastructure, Bermuda’s modernization reflects a broader trend. With new service rollouts planned in Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname, Belize, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Cloud Carib is helping jurisdictions across the region take ownership of their digital futures through secure, locally operated cloud solutions.
